1. REDUCTION OF RANGE. If you drop courses and thereby reduce your course enrollment to a lower assessment range (e.g., from Range 1 to Range 2), you receive a refund of the full difference between the two ranges, provided the change is made before the second Friday (first Friday of Summer term) of the term. No refund for course drops is available thereafter.
2. DROP DEADLINES. The course self-drop deadline for all students, is the second Friday of the term (first Friday of Summer term). Between the second and the end of the sixth week of the term (weeks 2 through 5 for summer session), undergraduate students may drop individual courses in their college offices, up to the maximum permitted limit of four over the course of their undergraduate degree programs. Graduate students are able to drop with approval of their individual Directors of Graduate Study. Undergraduate and graduate students who drop during this time period will receive a "W" grade on their academic records. There is no refund for course drops made after the second week of the semester (first week for summer session)."
3. CANNOT DROP LAST CLASS. To withdraw from the term, click on the Withdraw from Term/Cancel Registration link located at the bottom of the page. If you are trying to change your schedule and this is currently your only remaining class, first add the new class, then drop the class you do not want.
